Thats right. I'm resurecting fight club. Not through my alliance, just as a personal project.
1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.
3rd RULE: If someone "offers peace" or goes into deep Economic Depression (16 days +), the fight is over.
4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight, unless otherwise specified.
5th RULE: You're only allowed one fight at a time.
6th RULE: No nukes, no missiles.
7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.
8th RULE: If this is your first time in FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.
9th RULE: No outside aid. Military or otherwise.
The 1st and 2nd rules dont apply to these forums, but applies in game. in otherwords, your alliance gives you permission to fight, only through fight club. Dont try to set up your own fights, because they'll go wrong.
If someone breaks the rules, during a fight, then they break their contract, and won't be allowed to participate in a fight club war again.
If its a serious breach of the rules, like landing a nuke on their enemy, then someone stronger then you will join your enemy, and make you wish you hadn't wasted that nuke.
In regards to the 8th RULE, we try to set up a fight for you, when you join.
Only alligned colonies are allowed to enter fight club.

In regards to wars...
Wars will be with colonies that have the about the same amount of AI, and about the same amount of military.
To apply for a fight, you either make an advertisment, on the special fight club forums, or respond to an advertisment. The fixture will be set-up, both colonies will be linked in-game, and you'll be given a date to start the war by. The person advertising will be the defender, person answering to the advert will be attacker.
In the case of more then one colony answering to an add, the mod who makes the fixtures will decide.
To become a member of Fight Club, you must apply to join the Fight Club forums. (Unless Sandrob wants to put it on these forums, and make me a moderator *hint hint*)
When you register to be masked on the forums, your registration is an add for war. Meaning that only join if you want to fight. not to spectate.

In regard to what Fight Club is...
1. Fight Club isn't an alliance. Its a treaty, between alliances, to allow their individual members to fight each other, without bringing politics into play.
2 i. Fight Club isn't run by any alliance. Its run by all alliances that sign the treaty.
ii. If an alliance wishes to pull their members out of Fight Club, then the admins will facilitate this, by deleting all of their alliance members accounts.
3. If an alliance is unhappy at the conduct of another alliances member in a war, then the alliance admin can make an official complaint on the official forums, and the admin will try to facilitate this.
